Every week, we feature a new developer/blogger from the DZone community here and in our newsletter, catching up to find out what they're working on now and what's coming next. This week we're talking to Michael Sahota, Certified Scrum Master, active member of the Agile community, and co-organizer of Agile Tour Toronto:

Thanks for talking to us! What have you been working on lately?

My recent focus has been on the human side of software. How aspects like trust and fear play a big role in how teams perform.

What do you think were some of the most exciting developments in the Agile world in the last year or so?

The practices and process side is well understood. A lot of the exciting work is happening around topics like safety, fear and trust. About how Agile requires a post-modern organization structure where people are really empowered.

Are there any particular developer tools or resources you couldn't live without?

Stickynotes and sharpie markers.

Do you follow any blogs or Twitter feeds that you would recommend to developers?

Did you have a coding first love -- a particular program, gadget, game, or language that set you on the path to life as a developer?

I would happen to describe myself as an "accidental developer" as I fell into this trade somewhat unintentionally.

Anything else you'd like to mention?

A lot of computer folks are introverts. It's nice to see books written and people starting to pay attention to those preferences.

Thanks, Michael!
